Rendezvous of Arts This is our motto for the many delights awaiting the visitor at Lichtenwalde Palace and in the Baroque Garden. Both are true gems and worth paying a visit. The historically grown ensemble of the two sights is a rendezvous of arts. But what does this demanding motto exactly mean? The Baroque palace has been restored and revamped by the Saxon Ministry of Finance with funds of the order of millions after decades of wrong use and as of 2010 it will offer very interesting cultural experiences, e.g.: It will host the following exhibitions under the heading "A Meeting of Cultures": Historical salons Silhouette Museum Exhibition on Art and Way of Living of West African People (Dr. Frank collection) East Asian Art and Culture (Brühl collection) Life in the Himalayan region (Dr. Frank collection) Visitors can already look forward to seeing excellent exhibitions.
