Palace Restaurant

Come in and stay at the Palace's Summer House where the family of the Electoral of Saxony liked to dine. Let our chefs and cupbearers spoil you because we want to see that our guests enjoy eating at our place as much as our father Augustus and our mother Anna and their noble guests from near and far did.

Our rooms also provide a really princely ambience for travel and hiking groups, wedding receptions, family parties, social evenings, company parties, meetings and conferences. Hall (120 seats), Hunting Room (40 seats), Fireplace Room (50 seats) and Wine Room (40 seats) can seat 250 guests.

Enjoy the sun and have a chilled and noble Augustiner draft beer accompanied by good food in our beer garden during the summer months.

Arkaden, Imbissbereich

A rather rustic style can be found in the Arcades. Here, hikers are served refreshments. Glass panes that are as high as the arches allow a really extensive view of the courtyard. This is also an ideal spot for parties.

The light of many candles bathes the rough walls in a soft romantic light. The restaurant offers a range of delights from dancing to the historical menu. A particular attraction for party-goers is the appearance (in the flesh!) of Kurfürst August himself.
